- After installing the payload, briefly press and then press and hold the power button on the M300 UAV to switch it on. Wait for the drone to receive satellite signals and complete positioning.
- Switch on the DJI remote controller. Go to the "Flight route" screen and plan the required route. The recommended flight altitude is below 120 meters, the line spacing is 50 meters, and the flight speed is 8 meters per second.
- Make sure the remote controller has an Internet connection (via SIM card or Wi-Fi). Tap the three dots in the upper right corner → tap the satellite icon → in "RTK service type" select "Custom network RTK" → enter the correct credentials of the correction network account → confirm that the RTK status is shown in green as "Connected". After closing the menu, "RTK" and the number of satellites should be displayed at the top of the screen.
- Switch on the SLAM200/200E scanner.
- Briefly press the power button on the SLAM200/200E. When the status indicator starts blinking green slowly, the device starts initializing – the laser head slowly makes five revolutions. When initialization is complete, the rotation speed returns to normal and data collection begins. After that you can take off.
Tips:
- After installing the SLAM200/200E, make sure there are no obstacles within the rotation radius of the laser head that could interfere with its movement.
- When the SLAM200/200E starts collecting data, personnel should stay away from the device or move behind the tail of the UAV so as not to interfere with normal data collection.
- Upload the flight route and start the mission.
- During the flight, make sure the remote controller maintains a proper connection with the UAV at all times and the RTK icon remains active (highlighted).
- After the UAV lands, briefly press the power button on the SLAM200/200E. The laser head stops rotating and data collection ends. The status indicator switches to rapid green blinking, indicating that the SLAM200/200E is saving data. When saving is complete, the indicator lights solid green.
- Switch off the UAV and remove the payload to copy the data.
Tips:
- Fly over clearly distinguishable ground features; otherwise processing errors are possible.
- End the current laser data collection session after the UAV lands. As soon as the SLAM200/200E green indicator lights solid, you can start the next scan.
