IMU calibration is needed very rarely. Nevertheless, some events can affect the sensor: falls, collisions, temperature changes and long periods of inactivity. Because of the additional module protruding from the DJI Mavic 2 PPK body, the IMU calibration procedure differs from the usual one. To calibrate the IMU:
- Install the propellers on the motors
- Fold the arms as shown in the photo
- Prepare a table or any other flat surface: level it with a spirit level.
- Start the IMU calibration and perform steps 1-4 in order.
- At step 5, place the drone upside down on the table. Use the edge of the table for this. Position the drone as shown in the photo
- After step 5 is complete, turn the drone over and place it as usual
- IMU calibration is complete
