DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise photos have dark corners.
This is a feature of the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise lens when lens distortion correction is disabled; it is not a technical fault. To remove the dark corners, you can enable distortion correction, but the data accuracy will then be lower, so enabling it is not recommended.
Why don't I need to enter GNSS antenna offsets in TOPODRONE Post Processing, unlike other TOPODRONE products?
The offsets are already written in the structure of the *.mrk file that the drone creates during the aerial survey route. Entering antenna offsets is not required.
Why is there no *.mrk file in the route folder when using the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise in RTK mode?
In RTK mode, the high-precision coordinates of the photo centers are written to the EXIF data of the photos, and the *.mrk file is not written to the route folder. Without this file, PPK post-processing is impossible. Therefore, to post-process data by the PPK method, fly with the GNSS RTK antenna installed but with RTK corrections disabled.

Why does the M3E battery charge slowly even from a power supply that supports fast charging?
Use only the original 100 W charger to charge the batteries. Third-party chargers may not have enough power. The minimum power supply output for fast charging is 65 W.
What factors sharply degrade the radio link?
- Wrong relative orientation of the remote controller and drone antennas;
- No line of sight between the remote controller and the drone;
- Interference on the 2.4 GHz control frequency (Wi-Fi or jammers);
- Coniferous forest or branches between the drone and the remote controller;
- The pilot being in a car or a room with metal walls.
The battery charge level does not affect the radio range between the remote controller and the drone
What factors sharply degrade the accuracy of the final materials?
- Wrong camera image settings: blur, overexposure / underexposure;
- Wrong focus in the photos: the image is not sharp;
- Higher flight altitude and GSD linearly degrade accuracy;
- Interference on the GNSS signal frequency (obstacles, jammers);
- Incorrect installation and logging settings of the base station;
- A distance of more than 10 km between the base station and the M3E flight area.
The images came out too dark. Can they be batch-processed in graphics software to increase exposure?
It is strongly recommended not to change or edit the photos in any way. You will not get better quality, since re-encoding the *.jpeg adds extra noise.
Can photos be saved in *.RAW format?
This is possible, but it takes 3-4 times more space on the memory card and the PC disk and more post-processing time. In the end, *.RAW does not noticeably improve the quality of the final materials. It is not used in real projects and is not recommended.
Why is the recommended minimum exposure time 1/2000 s?
The M3E mechanical shutter cannot work faster than 1/2000 s. Aerial photography with the electronic and mechanical shutter at the same time slightly reduces accuracy and is not recommended.
