# Preliminary check and preparation

**Checking the kit.** Check the TOPODRONE P24 camera kit. For details, see «Package contents» in the TOPODRONE P24 user manual.

**Checking the drone.** Make sure all drone systems are in good working order and the batteries are charged.

> **Warning:** If the propellers are damaged, replace them with new ones, since vibration from damaged propellers causes a «jello» effect and blur in the photos.

**Clearing the SD memory card.** Make sure there is enough free space on the memory card before the aerial survey. Usually one flight of a DJI Matrice 300 / 350 RTK with the TOPODRONE P24 takes 2-4 GB.

> **Note:** When clearing the card, copy off only the photos themselves, without changing the file structure!

> **Warning:** If the memory card is formatted or the file structure is damaged, contact TOPODRONE technical support.

**Checking the payload connector.** Before starting work, make sure all contact pads of the X-Port gimbal payload connector are in normal condition, without damage or oxidation.
