Automatic correction provides a method to quickly process point cloud datasets to reduce error with minimal effort. In cases where the parameters obtained by automatic calculation are not satisfactory, manual alignment can be performed to obtain better (more accurate) results. Manual parameter refinement operations, which can be included in the scan alignment workflow, can be most effective when performed by users who have sufficient experience in Lidar data processing. The essence of Manual alignment is to select values for Krene, Tangage and Course by approximation.

The best place to pick corners is on objects with 2 pitched roofs. Select the Profile tool in the Profile Editor window. Draw a transverse line over the roof of the building where you can find the laser scanning data coinciding with parallel paths and find the correct values using the approximation method.
